challenge
The rapid depletion of toilet paper in stores resulted in heightened anxiety among consumers. With many uncertain about the longevity of their supplies, there was a pressing need for a tool that could offer insight and promote efficient consumption. Our primary research led to the creation of a generic user persona, illuminating key pain points and helping us understand the most immediate needs of potential users.
process
Leveraging design thinking, we initiated a streamlined approach. Our primary research data was crucial in crafting a user persona that represented the concerns of our target audience. Recognizing the urgency, we outlined a clear project scope and mapped out user flows. With clarity in our vision, Satnam and I embarked on a one-week design and development sprint, converting our insights into a user-friendly application.
Outcome
By mid-March 2020, Tishoo was launched on the App Store, ready to serve a world in need. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Users praised the app for its intuitive design and its ability to bring a semblance of calm in an otherwise tumultuous period. We were not only able to address a real-world problem but also contribute to restoring some degree of normalcy during uncertain times.
